A child called it & The lost boy

In 1995 Dave Pelzer decided to tell his story by writing a book. 

This books tell the story of a 12 year old boy who’s mother started treating him differently. She started abusing him and neglecting him to the extent that both their parents lost full custody of him. As the book goes on Dave tells us some of many of the things that his mother would make him do. For example, his mom starved him, forced him to drink ammonia, stabbed him in the stomach, burned his arm on the stove, and forced him to eat his own vomit. He also mentioned that his father was not active trying to resolve the conflicts between Dave and his alcoholic mother. He was then sent to a foster family by his teachers at age 12 in 1973. 

I would recommend this book to others because it is a really detailed story that people could easily comprehend. Unfortunately I can not tell you if this book has a happy ending because it is up to you to try and figure it out.
