In today's post I will be presenting a poem that I created on animal abuse.
All through my body you are able to see all my life.
Some say that I had tried,
others say I had thrived
and some just say I deserved it.
But, it’s not my fault I was born with black fur.
It’s not my fault I was the odd one in the family but yet I still try and survive in this cell.
I’ve been locked in here for what it seems like years.
I take a look around and inside my cell I see no escape,
I continue to implore for my liberty
but, my voice just echoes all around.
After years of desperation I finally see light coming from the corner of my eye.
While my eyes struggle to adjust to the intensity of the light I suddenly realize that...
